Bristol Evening Post review: The Sleep Book, Run and Fallen

Bristol Evening Post: The Sleep Book, Run and Fallen (Bristol Harbour Festival)

Bristol Old Vic became involved in Bristol Harbourfest for the first time this year by erecting an impromtu auditorium outside on King Street. The fabulous Bristol Old Vic Young Company wowed audiences with three performances. The Sleep Book, directed by Rosie Giarratana and performed by year six students, Jesse Jones' hilarious Run and Fallen, directed by Miranda Cromwell.

“It was an excellent idea to include the Old Vic in the Harbour Festival. With the festival being one of Bristol’s biggest annual draws, and the Old Vic being the city’s oldest theatrical institution, it only makes sense to bring these two together. The end result was a happy confection of history and heritage, while showing the audience just what the Old (and Young) Vic and Bristol are capable of in the future." Jane Mornement
