Previous composer in residence shortlisted for RSC Song Competition

One of Bristol Old Vic's previous composers in residence Kieran Buckeridge has been shortlisted for the Royal Shakespeare Company Song Competition.

More than 100 amateur and professional composers entered into the RSC's competition to set the words from one of Shakespeare's much-loved songs to music. The winning song will be performed at Shakespeare's Birthday Bash on Sunday 26 April 2015.

Kieran was composer in residence at Bristol Old Vic in 2014 and composed original music for Bristol Old Vic Young Company's summer production Wodwo and music and sound design of the stage adaptation of Michael Foreman's novella War Game directed by Toby Hulse.
