Bristol Old Vic's new leadership
introduced to the public
During 2008 Bristol Old Vic stepped back from the brink of oblivion. A year on from the renewal of funding by ACESW and Bristol City Council we are holding a public meeting to report on the events of the past year, to review current activity and to look forward to the future.
The public meeting will include:
A review of the past year from Dick Penny, Executive Chair since February 2008, to include the financial position, the current programme and an update on the re-development of the Theatre Royal complex.
Dick will also introduce Tom Morris and Emma Stenning who will take up the roles of Artistic Director and Executive Director respectively in September. Tom and Emma will discuss the opportunity and challenge of Bristol Old Vic and their approach to the vision:
To delight, surprise and inspire the people of Bristol with excellent live theatre in an environment of creativity, welcome and adventure.
The purpose of the meeting is to share information and the majority of the time will be devoted to questions from the floor. Questions from members of the public can be tabled in advance by email to mailto:jane.totney@bristol-old-vic.co.uk or post to Jane Totney, Theatre Administrator, Bristol Old Vic, King Street, Bristol,
