news at bristol old vic...

100 members of the public wanted for new show.

Have you ever dreamt of treading the boards at the oldest theatre in Bristol? Well here’s your chance!

Bristol Old Vic is currently looking for 100 members of the public to take part in its forthcoming production of Caryl Churchill’s Far Away to be performed 24th May – 9th June on the Theatre’s stage. We need to recruit 100 willing volunteers to parade around the stage in a wacky array of hats at a seminal moment in the production.

As well as getting to model a crazy headpiece, all those taking part will receive two complimentary tickets to the show and, of course, the accolade of performing at one of the most respected theatres in the country!

Our aim is to minimise your time commitment for this production. You can select the nights on which you would like to perform and you will only need to attend one rehearsal day before the show opens. You then just need to turn up and strut your stuff!

We are holding an open casting meeting at 11am on Saturday 27th March at Bristol Old Vic to discuss the role in more detail and answer any questions you may have. So, if this sounds like an interesting venture to you, please come along or send me an email at natalie@bristololdvic.org.uk

We hope to meet lots of you then!

Best Wishes,

Natalie Cross
