Half term in Bristol city centre hits fever pitch as the 1966 World Cup Final team tours in an open-top bus celebrating their legendary triumph once again!

Bristol Old Vic has been hit by football fever this half term.

To celebrate it's summer family show World Cup Final 1966, they are holding a free event for families. Come along and meet the World Cup Team from 1966, as they complete their triumphant open top bus tour of Bristol city centre, finishing at Bristol Old Vic. Take part in football activities and games, coached by Bristol City Community Trust, get your face painted or even challenge your mum to a penalty shoot-out!

As footie mania sweeps the nation, Bristol Old Vic invite you to bring your family and join us for the launch of our summer show as we celebrate our greatest sporting victory all over again! Events will kick off at 12noon and continue as we welcome home our winning squad. Bring your whole squad and revel in the triumphant joy of '66.

 

Stuck for things to do with your Noisy Animals?

Book for Kid Carpet and the Noisy Animals, enjoy the rock and roll adventure for kids and adults, then stay for our fun football filled family event.

Follow gorilla, bear, hedgehog and badger, as they make friends, cause mischief, contemplate the world and finally rock out at the grand dance contest. This lively and entertaining show contains a unique mix of live music, theatre, comedy and animation. The tracks include the addictive 'A Bear On A Boat In The Bath', 'Doing a Poo in the Forest', and 'Getting To The Good Bit (Really Good Bit)'.
