Heritage Internship in Interpretation and Digital Content Development

Bristol Old Vic's £2.4m Heritage Lottery Fund award paves the way for the Theatre's story to be told in new and exciting ways.

The HLF investment will fund the refurbishment of the historic Coopers' Hall, enable the reveal of the original 1766 theatre façade, and ensure that the Thunder Run is both accessible to the public and fit for future use.

At this exciting time, we are recruiting for the new post of Heritage Internship in Interpretation and Digital Content Development to work on the development of the new interpretation and online content for the Project, and to join the team for a year at this pivotal moment in embedding the sustained use of heritage across the organisation into the future.  This is very much a hands on role during which the post holder will gain experience across a range of areas including project management, working with external stakeholders to understand archive collection management and the role of digital interpretation in heritage projects.

The Heritage Intern will report directly to the Heritage Engagement Manager.

This post is funded for a fixed term of one year (Autumn 2017 - Autumn 2018).
