We want to make your visit to the Bristol Old Vic as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, so we have provided you with detailed information regarding accessibility in all areas of the theatre.

General access
On entering the building there are six steps leading up to the main foyer.
There is a platform lift for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility.
There are allocated wheelchair spaces in all our performance areas.
Please book in advance and mention any access requirements at this time.
Access information for the Studio:
The Studio Pit level seating is accessed down 15 Steps. This level is best for sightlines, however if you would like to book this level you will need to arrive early as this will require the use of the platform lift.
The Studio Balcony level seating is accessed from the foyer level. This level is accessed up 6 steps. This level also requires the use of the platform lift.
Access information for other spaces:
The Basement is accessed down 15 Steps, but is also accessible by the platform lift for certain performances.

A Kind of Alaska/Krapp's Last Tape Sat 5 May at 2.30pm ***CANCELLED***
This will include a Touch Tour of the set.
The performance will be described through use of a headset.

Other Access Information
A Sound Enhancement system through use of a headset or individual loop is available for the majority of our performances in the studio, please check with box office about specific performances.
The accessible toilet facilities are located on the foyer level of the building next to Theatre Bar.
Guide, hearing or other working dogs are welcome. Please notify box office at time of booking.
Parking spaces on King Street for blue badge holders. Please note that King street is a cobbled street.
People with disabilities requiring an accompanying person can request a free companion ticket at time of booking.
An audio tape/disc, Braille or large print version of our forthcoming show information can be made available. Please contact the box office team.
