About Adult Company

During 2012, a group of non-professional actors from Bristol participated in a series of drama workshops with experienced drama facilitator and creative practitioner, Liz Hague. The sessions had a strong focus on creating and devising, and explored various theatrical skills including improvisation, text-based stories, physical theatre, puppetry/object animation, character-building and the theatre experience. These 'taster' sessions led to the formation of the first ever participatory Bristol Old Vic Adult Company in Spring 2013.

Adult Company has been running ever since with a range of different practitioners running weekly classes every term.
