An Invite
Greetings to all potential Jambassadors
Bristol Jam (in it’s second year, probably the UKs longest running festival of Improvised performance running from 26th to 6th November) is back with a vengeance!
We’ve got a whole range of artists participating including the unrivalled Improbable, Phil Kay, Beak>, Sacconi Quartet, Charles Hazlewood, Jessica Hynes and Julia Davies, as well as a 30 hour improvathon, Richard Herring, the legendary Reggie Watts and (we think) an attempt to summon the spirit of Ken Campbell through a Halloween séance.
Yes, that’s right – it’s going to be even wilder than it was last year.
On Friday 15th @4.30pm, we're inviting a few people to join us for a drink, to hear a little more about the festival and (if you fancy it) join our team of Jambassadors - who will spread the word about the programme in exchange for free tickets to certain events.
In order to give you a flavour of the heavenly mayhem of Jam, we are also inviting some of this years Bristol Jammers to join us on Skype. Clapton knows what will happen – but that’s pretty much in the Jam Spirit.
Please reply to lbarron@bristololdvic.org.uk if you’d like to come along, so we know how many beers to get in. Obviously there’s no obligation of any kind.
Best Wishes
Tom Morris
