Thank you to everyone who attended this wonderful event – and especially to Catherine herself, and interviewer Ashley Coates.
The audience questions were fantastic, and the conversation was witty and entertainingly honest and forthright.
Our sincerest thanks to all those who contributed to this wonderful fundraising event.

Coinciding with the run of the latest new play Suspension, Catherine Johnson invites the public to join her ‘in conversation’.
Talking about her life and career to date, which started with her first play ‘Ragdoll’ in Bristol Old Vic’s Studio (known then as the New Vic), Catherine will lead the audience through her development as a playwright – which has gone from strength to strength! Focusing on the journey of writing ‘Suspension’, Catherine will explain how she first came up with an idea for the plot, how it evolved over time, and how it became a finished piece of theatre.
This is the perfect opportunity to learn about Catherine and her career in her own words, and ask a question yourself!
The event takes place in the Bristol Old Vic Studio, on Saturday 7th March 2009 at 12.30pm. Tickets are £10, and all proceeds will go to the Redevelopment Appeal.
