Part of Bristol Old Vic's Studio Walkabout Season

An evening of legends! Laurie Bolger, host of London's infamous BANG Said the Gun spoken word nights brings her powerful verse to the stage alongside British-Jamaican slam champion and ‘writer of colour to watch out for' (The Fader, 2017) Raymond Antrobus. They will be joined by Debris Stevenson, self-described social carrier pigeon who has shared her stories around the world.

If these poems could hug me, it'd be the biggest, warmest, squeeziest, most heartfelt hug I could imagine. A few tears perhaps"

HOLLY MCNISH on Laurie Bolger

More from Blahblahblah

In summer 2016 we began redevelopment works to transform our King Street entrance into a welcoming, vibrant space and build a brand new Studio theatre designed by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins. During this time, it will be business as usual in the Theatre with our brilliant programme on offer, and we're taking our Studio programme on Walkabout around Bristol!

Blahblahblah continues our Studio Walkabout Season, inspired by the city-wide partnerships created during the Theatre's first phase of refurbishment in 2011 which saw us stage productions in other venues including Coram Boy with our friends at Colston Hall.

Please note the venue of this show, and we hope you will join us as we stretch our legs across the city and continue to enjoy our brilliant studio programme.
