Sunday Times praises Far Away ↓ Leave a comment
The Sunday Times review of Far Away gave the performance a solid four stars:
“It’s barely an hour long, but Caryl Churchill’s three-part play is as rich and disturbing as anything we’ve seen this century. First performed at the Royal Court in 2000, here it is given a remarkably good revival by Simon Godwin”. ****

Carolyn says:
I was mesmerised by this play and very much enjoyed the discussion afterwards. There were so many perceptive and intelligent ideas raised both by the director and choreographer, and by members of the audience. (I saw it
on Tuesday evening). What a pity that the visiting artist on stage seemed unaware that she was there to discuss the play, rather than her own work and political rants. We wasted so much valuable discussion time. Simon Godwin was brlliant. Thank you to all concerned with this production.
I have been thinking about it ever since.
