Theatre School leaving a mark…  ↓ Leave a comment

Tomorrow sees the final performances of The Crucible and Jane Eyre, the final bow for students at theĀ Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. The reaction has been great. Reviews have filtered in from Venue and The Bristol Evening Post and they are very complimentary.

“UnderĀ  Sue Wilson’s fine direction, the graduating BOVTS cast manage the play’s relentlessly mounting tension brilliantly” Venue on The Crucible (4 stars).

“Pitman-Wallace’s excellent direction and Hall’s flawless script” Bristol Evening Post on Jane Eyre (6/10).

So again we wave goodbye to another brood of budding thesps (some, its fair to say, have blossomed already). However, there are still tickets left for the performances tonight and tomorrow (mat & eve) so if you haven’t yet had a chance to see the future of British acting talent - come along!

Ticket are available via the Box Office on 0117 987 7877 or click HERE for The Crucible or HERE for Jane Eyre.

I saw the play Opening Night and it was a success. I think the actess, Keaton Shyler was outstanding and was surprised she was a student of sorts. The play is definitely worth seeing.

Brilliant Performance on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 by the actors of the play, “Jane Eyre”. A real tribute to Bristol Old Vic and especially the British actor, “Keaton Shyler”and Pitman-Wallace’s directing. Still time to buy tix and see a great play.

    Best regards and Bravo,
