Flinty Red have taken up residence in our upstairs café-bar/restaurant, providing the Bristol Old Vic with delicious seasonal tapas and an exciting array of drinks.
Flinty Red is a collaboration between chefs Matthew Williamson and Claire Thomson and wine merchants Dominic Harman and Rachel Higgens of Corks of Cotham.
The restaurant on Cotham Hill opened in October 2009 and has since won numerous awards. Notably, a Bib Gourmand and a Red Grapes symbol from the 2011 and 2013 Michelin guides. Its first year of opening also saw immediate inclusion into the Good Food Guide 2010. Flinty Red was recognised as the best Bristol restaurant by Bristol and Bath's Venue magazine in 2010.
The Flinty Red café-bar/restaurant is now open for lunch and light supper serving both theatregoers and the general public on show days.

This year, Flinty Red at Bristol Old Vic will be offering a sumptuous three-course Christmas menu and can cater for intimate gatherings of 12 in our delightful Garden Room or seated dinners of up to 100 guests on our stunning Coopers' Gallery. Breathe in the history of Bristol Old Vic and sample the delights of Flinty Red before stepping into the recently transformed auditorium to watch The Little Mermaid or our Studio for Little Bulb's magical Antarctica.

Perfect for groups of colleagues, families and friends, we will reserve you a table for your party in the restaurant and prepare a delicious three-course menu for you to enjoy prior to the show starting.
Price = £22 per person, plus ticket price (from £7/£8 depending upon seating area and group size)

Start with a three-course festive meal with wine, followed by our Christmas Show, The Little Mermaid, with the best seats in the house and a programme and interval ice-cream.
You will have dedicated table service in comfortable, beautiful surroundings in our centrally located theatre.
8 to 12 people = £780 for whole package; or £25 per person for meal only.
Evening begins at 5pm and the show will finish by 10pm.

Orders must be placed before 5.45pm, a minimum spend of £8.50 on food must be made, offer is not in conjunction with the children's menu (below).
We will be offering a Children's Menu before every performance of the Little Mermaid along side our Evening Tapas or Lunch Menu.

For evening shows, tables can be booked from 5pm until 30 minutes before the start of the Theatre show.
We would always recommend arriving earlier rather than later, to ensure there is enough time to order an enjoy your meal!
