Presented by Holybourne Singers
with Soloists from Winchester and Bristol Catherdral Choirs
Coming to St. Mary Redcliffe Church this May are the brilliant Hampshire based choir, Holybourne Singers, with their fresh, high quality, and brilliant performance of two of Mozart's most wonderful works, the Coronation Mass and Vesperae de Confessore, often known as the Mozart Vespers. The Coronation Mass is a well-known and popular work and the Vespers is Mozart's final choral work and contains the beautiful Laudate Dominum.
Now in their sixth year and led by their talented and inspiring Director, Rebekah Abbott, they will be joined at the Organ by Stephen King, Organist at Brentwood Cathedral. The concert will also feature the Holybourne Singers Chamber Choir who will perform Faure Requiem.
The greatest thing about going to an HS concert is the warm welcome you receive from the choir. In short, they are a combination of great fun and simply superb performances. I can't wait for April"
I knew the Choir had a reputation for putting on brilliant concerts but at my first concert, I was blown away by their sound, warmth and sheer energy. Now as a member, I can't wait to perform in my first concert. The choir has great energy; is happy, yet professional"
The concert will be supporting local charity Mothers for Mothers.
