Part of Bristol Old Vic's Studio Walkabout
GENERAL BOOKING OPENS 10AM, TUE 28 MAR
Bristol Old Vic's Made in Bristol project, now in its seventh year, is a 12-strong group of young people aged 18-25 from across the South West. The group are resident at Bristol Old Vic two days a week, training to be theatre makers, facilitators and artists.
Each year, the group form their own theatre company and create a new piece of professional theatre to be performed at the end of the course. Previous Made in Bristol companies have included The Wardrobe Ensemble, The Tin Can Collective, Guilty Party, Hotel Echo, Propolis Theatre and Splint Theatre.
This year's Made in Bristol group, INKBLOC ensemble, will perform a brand new piece of theatre at 1532 Performing Arts Centre this July. Displaying the exciting young talent that the South West region has to offer, the Made in Bristol Show has been a spring board for previous groups to tour their work both nationally and internationally and is a chance to see the freshest and most innovative theatre created by one of Bristol's newest theatre companies.

Last year we began redevelopment works to transform our King Street entrance into a welcoming, vibrant space and build a brand new Studio theatre designed by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins. During this time, it will be business as usual in the Theatre with our brilliant programme on offer, and we're taking our Studio programme on Walkabout around Bristol!
Made in Bristol Show continues our Studio Walkabout Season, inspired by the city-wide partnerships created during the Theatre's first phase of refurbishment in 2011 which saw us stage productions in other venues including Coram Boy with our friends at Colston Hall.
Please note the venue of this show is the 1532 Performing Arts Centre. We hope you will join us as we stretch our legs across the city and continue to enjoy our brilliant studio programme.
