It is not possible to drop-off or pick-up from Rackhay as this is a one-way dead end street which must remain empty for Fire Access. Vehicle access to Rackhay will be controlled by our staff for all performances.

If you require drop off in Rackhay to enter the theatre for access reasons then we are able to accommodate this on request. Please contact stagedoor@bristololdvic.org.uk or phone 0117 949 3993.

Car Parking
There are good parking facilities in the surrounding area including, especially at the NCP on Queen Charlotte Street (see P symbol on map below). Meter parking is also available on King Street and Queen Square.

For more information on car parking, including parking options for minibuses and other large vehicles, please contact Bristol City Council parking services on 0117 922 2198.

Please book Taxis for drop-off and pick-up to Bristol Old Vic, King Street, BS1 4ED. Your taxi should drop you off on King Street from where you can follow our signs to the Rackhay stage door entrance just around the corner.

Coach drop-off and pick-up is on King Street, just around the corner from our stage door entrance.

The closest coach park is near the M Shed museum (access off of Cumberland Road) with a fee of £1.10 for up to 24 hours (do check this before setting off) or there is free parking along Cumberland Road.
