Bristol Old Vic Restaurant

In 2016 we began our redevelopment works that will transform our front of house King Street entrance into a welcoming, access friendly community space that everyone will be able to enjoy. During this time, it will be business as usual in the Theatre with our brilliant programme on offer, however our front of house restaurant is now closed.

Backstage Bar

During our redevelopment works, we have transformed our backstage area into an exciting pop up space. The Backstage Bar sits in the heart of our Theatre and opens 90 minutes prior to each performance.

On offer are an excellent selection of beverages from the best of the South West including Bath Ales and our 250th Anniversary Ale. We also offer a wide range of snacks and confectionery, as well as charcuterie and cheese boards that can be pre-ordered and paid for when buying your theatre tickets.

Enhance your visit by pre-ordering your drinks, ice creams sweets and boards ahead of your show. So why not join us for this unique experience?
