King Street Road Closure for weekend 17-19 July

This year's Bristol Harbour Festival will span over 3 days from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 July. There will be some planned road closures that will affect access to Bristol Old Vic over this weekend for any customers coming to see Hetty Feather or performances in Ferment Fortnight.

 

Car Pak Closures that affect access to Bristol Old Vic

The Mud Dock/Grove car park will be closed to the public from 0730 Fri 17 July until 2300 Sun 19 Jul.

Portwall Lane car park will be closed to the public from 0900 Thu 17 July until 2200 Sun 19 July.

Queen Square parking bays will be closed from 0001 Fri 17 July until 2300 Sun 19 July. Alternative parking for permit holders at Portwall car park on Friday and over the weekend - with usual Queens Square parking permit displayed.

We recommend parking at the NCP car park on Queen Charlotte Street if visiting Bristol Old Vic over this weekend.

 

Proposed Road Closures that affect access to Bristol Old Vic

King Street
Closed from Prince Street roundabout to junction with Queen Charlotte Street from 0600 on Sat 18 Jul until 2100 on Sun 19 July.
Access for permit holders will be via Prince Street, King William Avenue, Little King Street and Queen Charlotte Street.

Queens Square
Closed from Middle Avenue on the South side to Queen Charlotte Street from 0000 Fri 17 July until 1700 on Fri 17 July (access will be permitted via Middle Avenue exiting at Queen Charlotte Street).
From 1700 Fi 17 July until 2300 Sun 19 July the whole Square will be closed to general traffic (access to production vehicles only).

Mill Avenue
Closed from junction with Welsh Back to junction with Queen Square from 0000 Fri 17 July until 2300 Sun 19 July.

Middle Avenue
Closed from 0000 Fri 17 July until 2300 Sun 19 July.
