Satellite Sessions: New In-School Workshops

Due to our current redevelopment, we are no longer able to host workshops here at Bristol Old Vic. However, we have developed a new programme of workshops which practitioners will be able to deliver directly to your school/venue.

Please see the menu of Satellite Sessions below:

Introduction to Shakespeare: Introducing the themes and characters of any chosen Shakespeare play.
Comedy and Melodrama: Looking at Comedy and Melodrama through the characters of commedia dell'arte

Secondary

Devising with Movement: using techniques from Complicite, Frantic Assembly, Growtowski, Meyerhold or Forced Entertainment
Devising from Text: using techniques from Kneehigh, Brecht, Boal, Artaud or Stanislavski
Exploring Shakespeare: Adaptable for any Shakespeare play, these workshops explore in depth the chosen texts language, characters and themes.
The art of directing: Exploring what is the role of the director & what ways do they communicate with their audience? using techniques from different practitioners and directors.
Exploring Text: We are able to offer bespoke workshops which practically explore set texts & plays.
