Presented by Invisible Ink
Bristol Old Vic's Studio Walkabout Season

Is confession good for the soul?

Invisible Ink has been collecting true stories of the terrible things we do.

From lying to your boss to breaking your mum's heart and everywhere in between the show explores the darker side of human nature. But we're not here to judge - honest!

Inspired by personal stories collected over two years, we invite you to our public confessional to revel in the funny, awkward and poignant world of people's deepest secrets.

If you too feel like unburdening yourself, there will be a "confession booth" in the foyer before and after the show.

Invisible Ink thanks all the generous contributors who have shared with us so far. All names have been changed to protect the innocent ... and not so innocent.

The Terrible Things I've Done follows Invisible Ink's sell-out adaptation of Angela Carter's The Magic Toyshop.

The performance was subtly beautiful and sprinkled with just a bit of humour."

Every part of this storytelling has been meticulously thought-out and it certainly paid-off."

This year we began redevelopment works to transform our King Street entrance into a welcoming, vibrant space and build a brand new Studio theatre designed by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins. During this time, it will be business as usual in the Theatre with our brilliant programme on offer, and we're taking our Studio programme on Walkabout around Bristol!

The Terrible Things I've Done is part of our first Studio Walkabout Season, inspired by the city-wide partnerships created during the Theatre's first phase of refurbishment in 2011 which saw us stage productions in other venues including Coram Boy with our friends at Colston Hall.

Please note the venue of this show, and we hope you will join us as we stretch our legs across the city and continue to enjoy our brilliant studio programme.
