Tristan & Yseult
Sink down upon us. Night of love, make me forget I live.
Cornish King Mark is at war: he rules with his head not his heart. But he hasn't counted on falling head over heels for his enemy's sister, or expected the arrival of the enigmatic Tristan. Seen through the eyes of the 'Unloved', Tristan & Yseult, the most successful and beloved of all Kneehigh's shows, blends comedy, live music, grand passions and tender truths in an irresistible night of love.
This critically acclaimed production catapulted the company onto the international stage over a decade ago. Since then the show has played to rapt audiences across the world, from roofless Cornish castles to intimate New York warehouses. In its latest incarnation this unforgettable version of the greatest love story of the Celtic tradition will tour for the first time to the four corners: Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as well as to London's Shakespeare's Globe and other UK theatres, delighting audiences as well as breaking hearts...
Tristan & Yseult has been hailed by critics as "a triumph", "deliriously joyful" and "breathtaking in every respect".
I loved it with a passion."

This summer we began redevelopment works to transform our front of house King Street entrance into a welcoming, vibrant space that everyone will be able to enjoy. During this time, it will be business as usual in the Theatre with our brilliant programme on offer, however there are a few changes to how we'll be operating.
You are now invited to enter the Theatre through our Stage Door, walking in the footsteps of theatre legends such as Peter O'Toole, Daniel Day Lewis and Miranda Richardson.
Our new Theatre entrance can be accessed via Rackhay (BS1 4HJ) off Queen Charlotte Street, around the corner from King Street.
Click here for more information and updates on our Theatre entrance.
On performance days, tickets can be collected from Box Office situated in our Backstage Bar opening 90 mins prior to each performance.
