Unlocking Potential

The Unlocking Potential programme involves 120 students from KS3 across the South Bristol Youth schools. The programme is aimed at students who are enthusiastic about school and work hard. The group will do a range of exciting activities including working with the Bristol Old Vic, making video blogs with the staff at Watershed, learning how to speak in presentations with the help of the Speakers Trust, creating enterprise projects and acting as newspaper reporters.

By the end of the programme we hope that the group will have gained in confidence and have a really good understanding of their own personal skills.

During their time at Bristol Old Vic the young people selected for the project will be working with practitioners on their confidence and speaking skills as well as having a tour of the building and seeing a show.
